Château Les Grands Maréchaux 2014

Aged for 12 months, 25% in cement vats, 75% in barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 of one wine, 1/3 of two wines), it is characterized by its aromas of ripe fruit and blackcurrant liqueur, with floral notes (peony and old rose). Racy, balanced and fleshy, it gives even more after 7 years of ageing, enriching itself with delicious aromas of truffles.

“Good smoky oak accompanies the ripe fruit in this wine largely dominated by Merlot (90%). The attack in the mouth is supple, the development bold and fleshy, on melted tannins, while the finish displays a little more severity. The whole is harmonious”.

Palate

Aromas of verbena associated with a light note of incense. Elegant, classic and fresh nose evoking spices. Gourmet and easy to access mouthfeel. Should be sublimated by meat.
