Cuvée Viva 2013

Aged for 12 months, 25% in cement vats, 75% in barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 of one wine, 1/3 of two wines), it is characterized by its aromas of ripe fruit and blackcurrant liqueur, with floral notes (peony and old rose). Racy, balanced and fleshy, it gives even more after 7 years of ageing, enriching itself with delicious aromas of truffles.

“Made from 100% Merlot, this ruby-purple 2013 has attractive black fruit aromas, mineral notes and a vegetal touch. Will reach its peak in six years.” Robert Parker (08/2014)

The estate team

Ginger, paprika and peppermint dominate the nose. The wine has a floral edge but a nice soft, stretched structure with a tangy, energetic finish.
