A little historyThe jewel of the Blayais
Perched on the heights of the Cars hill, the symbol of the Blayais, Château Belle Coline is spelled with a single L, a reference to the first name of Christophe Reboul Salze's last daughter.

YIELD
Located on the rolling hills facing the vineyard of Saint Julien, this estate benefits from a full southern exposure on a soil of limestone marls of the secondary... An ideal terroir for structured and powerful wines.
Ageing
30% in new Bordeaux barrels (225L and 500L). 25% in one year old barrels, 25% in two year old barrels and the rest in cement tanks.
Tasting
The different vintages of Château Belle Coline have a powerful, deep and complex character, requiring 6 to 7 years of ageing to reach their maturity. This fabulous terroir allows us to make surprising wines in very small vintages.
Varieties
90 % merlot, 10 % malbec
An immediately expressive nose, where blackcurrant and blackberry play the leading roles. Very nice vibrant matter where the acidity lets itself be guessed without ever imposing itself. A dense wine that combines structure and finesse. To be continued. Terre de Vins - Belle Coline 2016
