For almost twenty years since he acquired his Château Gigault, Christophe Reboul Salze has been working to expand the domain of this grape variety capable of the best, provided he does not give in to its ease. Christophe, Merlot is his material. He understands its deep nature. He magnifies this plant by extracting its mineral substances. From the Merlot of Blaye, he has made the unique flesh of his Viva cuvée, elegant rather than corpulent, and whose energy reflects its name. May Viva live. Jean-Francis Pécresse - Les Echos
